Simple contrast control-using blend modes in Photoshop

Sometimes you get your image to a final stage, but you may have stared at it too long, and you’re wondering if it could be any better? One tip I learned is to try a less subtle adjustment to you’re final to compare. Using blend modes in Photoshop can you give you some aggressive extremes in contrast or color to help you determine if your final really is your final, or it could use some improvement. Going to far may be just what you need to do, to determine what’s just right for an image! In this image I found Soft Light gave me some punch I didn’t think I needed until I tried it. Dialed back a bit in opacity I found it improved the impact of the image to my liking.
